In honor of National Adoption Month, Smocked Polkadot has selected the first recipient of their newly launched Seecaas Hope for Adoption Foundation. Proceeds from each Smocked Polkadot purchase benefits the foundation, which aims to alleviate the financial burden of adopting for families.
Founder Ashley Hensley was motivated to establish the foundation after undergoing adoption journeys for her two youngest children. On November 7, the Southern- inspired apparel brand will announce the carefully selected recipient. Every year moving forward, the Seecaas Hope For Adoption Foundation plans to award two to three recipients with financial assistance to complete their families.
Fresh off their successful Market at Macy’s debut and Smocked Polkadot Takes Manhattan event last month, the Virginia-based brand has also announced their spring/ summer 2020 design collaboration. Real Housewives of Dallas star Brandi Redmond, an adoptive mother as well, will co-design with Smocked Polkadot on a special collection drawing inspiration from their Southern roots.
