Sugar Rush

It’s no mystery that kids like sweet treats, but these confections are parent and dentist approved. Enticed by the candy-colored collections shown at Creatures of Comfort and Christopher Kane for fall, children’s designers shrunk the trend down to bite-size. Swirled ice cream cones, Technicolor macarons, striped popsicles and juicy gummy bears are all on the menu for Spring ’16. Intricate appliqués and flashy accessories appeal to a tween’s sweet tooth, while hand-drawn doodles in subdued shades are easier to swallow for baby (and mom). From rattles and rings to dresses and button-down shirts, these sugary creations look good enough to eat.
