Warner Bros. Consumer Products and renowned Latina health expert Aliza Lifshitz, M.D., have founded a partnership to reach out to Hispanic mothers and promote healthy, happy babies. Characters from Baby Looney Tunes, a Warner Bros. property, will be featured “ambassadors” for the program.

The program launches in line with Hispanic Heritage Month on Sept. 15, and will continue throughout 2010. The initiative (with the tagline “Happily Healthy”) includes various print, online and multimedia resources in both English and Spanish-languages, all centered on “fun” and meant to provide new and expecting mothers with engaging, educational ways to best care for and nurture their babies. “Personality and playfulness are hallmarks of Baby Looney Tunes, and we are pleased to partner with Dr. Aliza Lifshitz to bring information about raising healthy children in an engaging way,” said Karen McTier, executive vice president of domestic licensing and worldwide marketing for Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

The partnership begins with the release of “Healthy, Fit and Fun,” an English/Spanish storybook Baby Looney Toones characters and useful tips for mothers. Additionally, Dr. Aliza’s recently launched website, VidaySalud.com, will provide learning opportunities and news in Spanish, while the online community Momlogic.com will host English-language content, a regular Q&A with Dr. Aliza and weekly promotions.
