A panel of retail buyers in the U.K. has selected finalists for the country’s Licensing Awards 2010, pulling from a pool of more than 5,000 licensed products.
In the category for best licensed children’s apparel range, which honors licensed lines exclusively sold through British retailers, top licenses include Ben 10, Minnie Mouse, Little Miss, Toy Story, Hungry Caterpillar and Hello Kitty.
The top licensed kids’ products retailers include Argos, ASDA, Mothercare, Sainsbury’s, Smyths Toys Superstores, Tesco and Toys ‘R’ Us.
The nominees for best preschool licensed property are The Gruffalo, In The Night Garden, Mr Men & Little Miss, Peppa Pig, Thomas & Friends and Waybuloo.
Retailers nominated the following brands for best kids, tween or teen property: Barbie, Ben 10, Hello Kitty, SpongeBob SquarePants, Star Wars and Toy Story.
