Two Companies Recall Pajamas Due to Violation of Federal Flammability Standard

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and L.L. Bean of Freeport, MN, have issued a voluntary recall of about 800 girls’ pajama sets. The sets fail to meet the federal flammability standard, posing a risk of burn injuries to children. No incidents have been reported. Babycottons of Miami, FL, is also recalling an estimated 1,100 children’s cotton nightgowns due to violation of the federal flammability standard.
