Keds and Kate Spade team up for a glitter-infused kids’ sneaker collection.
Coming off the success of their adult shoe pairings, Keds and Kate Spade are partnering once again to bring bright shoes into the children’s market. Over the years, Kate Cox, vice president of product for Kids Group of Wolverine Worldwide, has received a lot of requests from fans for a kids collaboration. “As the kids’ market explodes with mini-me styling, we felt it was a natural fit to launch a Keds’ kids partnership with Kate Spade New York,” Cox says. “The fancy sneaker look is perfect for little girls who love to dress up, but also want to play.”
The collection, which ranges from $20-30 wholesale, blends the classic Keds canvas shoe with Kate Spade’s bright glitter to produce four vibrantly sparkly iterations. Each pair comes with two sets of laces—ribbon and cotton. “Not only are fancy sneakers and glittery colors perfect for the holiday season, but Keds kids sneakers are made specifically for kids’ growing feet and emphasize comfort,” Cox says.
Ready to launch Oct. 25, the shoes will be available through Keds, Kate Spade and key wholesalers.
