The Public Zoo, a brand that combines whimsical character art with premium apparel and accessories, has announced four new licensing partners: SkyHigh for stationery and back-to-school paper products; Age Group for sleepwear, loungewear, swimwear and underwear; Evy of California for girls’ and boys’ sportswear; and Fast Forward for handbags and backpacks. A Target store exclusive line of Evy of California sportswear called the Colobox Collection was also launched for the back to school season. Target is introducing The Public Zoo’s boys’ TPZ line later this month as well. Macy’s also will also begin selling products from the Valero Enterprises brand in the near future. “The Public Zoo has been a great lifestyle brand for women,” says creator and acclaimed pop artist and designer Han L. Lee. “To be able to introduce this world to boys and girls is a vision becoming a reality. Partnering with the licensees on board from the various categories will help reach the full potential of this brand.” Juniors, tweens and kids’ lines feature the lovable panda bear Hickup and his friends.
