Conde Nast’s teen fashion and Macy’s are joining together to create an apparel collection for teenagers at 150 of the department stores. The collection, which will offer pieces from dresses, jackets and jumpsuits to leggings, shirts and shorts, will launch at the end of March. “As part of our ‘brand everywhere’ approach, we’ve created a fashion line that really resonates with our style-obsessed audience,” says Amy Astley, editor in chief of Teen Vogue. “We’ve had a terrific success with our branded mobile game, ‘Teen Vogue Me Girl’ and with our bedding collection, so apparel was the next logical step and Macy’s is the ideal partner.” Fifteen new pieces will be rotated on the sales floor each month after its launch. “Macy’s collaboration with Teen Vogue is another way we are reinventing our merchandise assortment for this important customer,” says Tim Baxter, executive vice president of fashion, lease and multicultural office at Macy’s. “The collection will provide the latest trends styled to look like the innovative and eclectic pages of the magazine, and will provide a compelling new reason for Millennials to visit our stores.”
