Footwear collection developed to accommodate a baby’s rough and tumble first steps.
Robeez, the infant and toddler soft-soled footwear brand, has debuted a capsule collection for babies learning to walk. The collection, which emulates the company’s Soft-Sole fit and Mini Shoez shape, features comfy insoles with an elasticized ankle design that are easy to take on and off. Styles include sneakers, booties, sandals, espadrilles, oxfords, ballet flats and Mary Janes priced $30 at retail. Sizes range from 0 to 24 months.
First Kicks is the latest Robeez collection to bow since the company was acquired by McCubbin Hosiery in December. It follows the launch of a baby apparel collection in January. Since working with McCubbin—the hosiery company began licensing a Robeez sock line in 2010—Robeez has seen double-digit growth, according to the company. “We’ve been working with the Robeez brand for several years and are thrilled to have the opportunity to acquire the brand, accelerate growth and connect with consumers on the global scale,” President David McCubbin, stated at the time of the acquisition.
