Quiksilver Sells Raisins Swim Brands

Quiksilver Inc. is selling its Raisins swim brands, which include Raisins, Raisins Girls, Leilani, Island Soul and Island Escape, to AOM Holdings. Quiksilver has managed the brands since 1994.

Craig Stevenson, president of Quiksilver Americas, noted that the company’s decision to sell came out of its decision to focus on its core businesses: Quiksilver, Roxy, DC and the growing Mervin label. “AOM has extensive experience in the swim category and we are pleased that they have expressed their intent to continue to operate these brands within their existing channels of distribution,” Stevenson stated. The Quikilver team intends to complete the shipping of Spring and Summer 2010 product and reorders, and will work with AOM for a smooth transition. The first collection from AOM will be released for Spring ’11.
