Playtime New York show directors report a 15-percent jump in attendance compared to the 2010 July show. 1,314 visitors shopped the show from July 30 to August 1, viewing collections from American and international brands. Additionally, the Playtime Loves Japan pop up shop, which was open to the general public, generated $5,231 in cash and an additional $20,000 in merchandise donations to K.I.D.S Japan Earthquake Relief. The show is expected to grow from 55 to 90 collections for the March 2012 edition.
