Offspring Spiffs Up for Fall

Little Me revamps Offspring for fall.

Little Me has updated its Offspring baby and toddler collection with a new look, new logo and and new design. Heeding the call of Millennial moms who are drawn to sophisticated children’s clothing in neutral colors, Offspring has cast off its former brights and bolds in favor of pared-down pastels, subtle prints and fashion-forward designs. The result is a beautiful and creative collection featuring items adults would want to wear. One highlight for girls is a three-piece ensemble that includes gray leggings, pale pink printed top paired with a fuzzy pink faux fur vest for girls. For boys, look for track pants with contrasting drawstrings and Picasso-worthy striped sailor shirts. And while the collection is elevated, Offspring avoids “adult” fabrics such as leather, harsh tweeds or wool, noting that babies should be allowed to be babies. To that end, the company spent time developing newer, softer fabrics for the fall collection, according to President Jeff Glick. Offspring’s logo even got a revamp, streamlining its typography, ombré color gradation and its design of leaves shooting up from the letter “i.” For more information, visit Little Me’s booth 10054 at Children’s Club show in New York, Sunday, Mar. 5 through Mar. 7.
