NY NOW announced today the cancellation of its in-person Winter 2021 Market, originally scheduled for Feb. 7-10, 2021.

Government restrictions and the current closure of the Javits Convention Center, along with other regulations imposed in New York City by local government and public health authorities, have made it impossible to stage the NY NOW Winter Show in-person.

While disappointed, Tim Hart, senior vice president of NY NOW, understands the importance of putting safety first during these difficult times.

“Our attention now turns to build on the success of our recently launched NY NOW Digital Market,” he says of the year-round virtual platform, which now hosts over 650 brands. “It’s a privilege to be on this digital journey with our community, and we are thrilled by the possibilities it creates for us all—particularly when digital and in-person converge at the Javits Center in August 2021.”

NY NOW’s Digital Market will remain online as an ongoing resource for buyers through the end of 2020 and beyond. The online platform will also host Winter Market Week, from January 28 to February 3, featuring a full program of content, experiences, show specials, new product introductions and more.
