Nickelodeon Hires Retail Development Exec for Walmart Exclusives

Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products has brought on Ron Johnson to serve as the senior vice president of Walmart retail development, a newly created position. Johnson will be based in Bentonville, Ark., where the retailer is headquartered, and will act as a liaison between Nickelodeon and Walmart, creating global strategies for all of the entertainment company’s properties.

Previously, Johnson served as vice president and general manager of Disney Consumer Products’ Global Walmart Team.
