The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association elected new board members last week. Senior VP and General Manager of Global Consumer Products at Sesame Workshop Maura Regan has been chosen as LIMA’s chairperson of the board and Rick Van Brimmer, director of trademark and licensing services at Ohio State University was elected as vice chairman. Five new members were also selected for three-year terms: Ciaran Coyle, international managing director of Beanstalk; Dell Furano, CEO at Live Nation Merchandise; Elias Hofman, president of Exim Licensing; Sara Nemerov, SVP consumer products and brand licensing at Warner Music Group; and Peter Yoder, VP of consumer products at Cartoon Network Enterprises. “We are pleased to have such talented licensing professionals join our LIMA Board of Directors, and look forward to working closely with each of them to better our industry,” says Charles Riotto, president of LIMA. “This year’s board is composed of standouts from all sides of the business, and I am confident they will help LIMA continue to accomplish great things.” LIMA has been the primary trade organization for the worldwide licensing industry since 1985.
