Licensing Expo Announces New Show Features

The upcoming Licensing International Expo, taking place June 8-10 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, will feature several new areas on the floor.

Show management company Advanstar Communications is creating category-specific pavilions to highlight the latest in fashion, gaming/interactive, and art and design. The fashion pavilion will house a cafe and lounge area with videos featuring fashion brands and mannequins dressed in exhibitors’ apparel products. There will also be a live art gallery, which will provide a special exhibit area for art and design exhibitors as well as another lounge.

Other new attractions include a demo area for exhibitors to feature and demonstrate their licensed wares, a 2,000-square-foot international networking lounge and bar, and Twitter kiosks. In addition, a silent auction to benefit The Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation will also take place on the show floor.
