Dodgeville, Wisc.-based Lands’ End is giving children a chance to express themselves while helping to fund school art programs with its current “Every Tee Tells A Story” contest. From July 28 to Sept. 7, the company is inviting kids ages 4 to 11 to enter drawings that reflect an “Arctic Exploration” theme. The winners—one boy and one girl—will have their design featured in the next Lands’ End graphic tee collection and will receive a $500 Lands’ End gift certificate and a $1,000 donation to their school’s art program. For every entry received, the company will donate $1 (up to $10,000) to fund art-related projects at U.S. public schools through its partner, DonorsChoose.org.

“Clothing is a fun way for kids to showcase their unique style. We know the best way to find out what kids want to wear is to ask them,” said Liz Pierce, senior design director for Lands’ End. “We’re excited to let kids show off their creativity.” Visit www.landsend.com.
