At last week’s Magic trade show, Kids in Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S.) tapped exhibiting vendors to donate product to children in need. “In today’s economic environment, where underprivileged children and youth need our help more than ever, Magic offers a great opportunity for manufacturers to be able to give back and provide hope to those that need it most,” said Peter Rosenthal, chairman of K.I.D.S. and president of Rosenthal & Rosenthal. “We are extremely pleased to have the support of Magic once again, as the trade show provides an excellent platform for K.I.D.S. to secure needed merchandise donations.”
K.I.D.S. collects new products from manufacturers, retailers, jobbers and other businesses with items for children. The charity distributes its donated products both Stateside and overseas, including $16 million worth of items to victims of the earthquake in Haiti.
