The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) has announced its new board of directors for 2009-2010. The newly elected chairman, Greg Mansker of Chicco USA, succeeds Tony DeSimone of Fisher Price, while Brenda Berg of Scandinavian Child is the new vice chairman and Tom Sparno of Evenflo Co. will act as treasurer.
Keith Schneider of PEM America joins the board, which includes continuing members Michael Halak of Graco; Scott Krueger of Westwood Design; Luanne Lager of Regal Lager; Jason Macari of Summer Infant Products; Rick Rosati of Bureau Veritas; Ken Waldman of Jack Design; Kerry Williams of Go-Go Babyz; and Alan Wolkin of Colgate Juvenile Products.
“JPMA is fortunate to have such dedicated people working to further the goals of the organization and the industry,” Mansker said. “Today’s tough economy and challenging regulatory climate affect companies large and small, so it is vital for our association to work diligently every day to ensure the mission of JPMA is carried out to the fullest.” The JMPA represents more than 300 prenatal to preschool product manufacturers, importers and distributors in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
