Fresh Finds: Babyletto

Los Angeles-based Babyletto was founded in 2010 with the goal of creating contemporary nursery furniture that was both fun and functional, as well eco-friendly. Offering a full range of cribs, dressers, changers, bookcases and chairs for the modern nursery, all are made using safe, renewable materials including sustainable New Zealand Pine, with lead and phthalate-free finishes. But the company is branching out beyond furniture, with everything from fitted crib sheets to stroller blankets, changing pad covers and wall decals. And for spring, three new prints join the collection: Tulip Garden, Fleeting Flora and Desert Dreams. Designed by graphic designer Clara Choi, the modern-meets-traditional patterns come in a palette of subdued pastels punctuated by pops of neon yellow and cobalt blue. “By designing with a soft spring palette, this collection recreates this serene moment in the nursery everyday,” adds Choi of her inspiration, a gentle breeze on a spring day.
