The children’s brand, which features Floppets animal figures that kids can attach to their fingers, necklaces, backpacks, pencils and more, is looking to expand its licensing range for the new year. “If the brand fits our brand, we are always open,” says Damien Cahill, operations director of Floppets UK and Europe. The brand has already added the Star Trek license to its line-up and is looking to partner with children’s apparel brands as well. “Brand owners have some amazing opportunities with Floppets, but I would say, ‘be quick.’ We are receiving inquiries from Europe on a daily basis for licensing, re-sell opportunities and some really surprising avenues in sports, concerts and other product areas,” he says. The Floppets also are equipped with near field communication technology, which enables them to interact with other Floppets wirelessly.
