Kids’ entertainment powerhouse Nickelodeon has renewed its longtime partnership with Fisher-Price, allowing the toy giant to continue developing toys based on pre-school properties such as Dora the Explorer and Team Umizoomi. Fisher-Price will produce items like infant and pre-school toys, plush, figures, vehicles and play sets.
Product highlights for this year include a new Team Umizoomi toy line, which will allow pre-schools to develop math skills like counting and measuring with the “Come and Get Us Counting Umi Car,” which is set to launch this fall. Continuing with the success of past Dora the Explorer product, the brand plans to create dollhouses, play sets and dolls, like the “Fantastic Gymnastics Dora” doll just in time for the London 2012 Summer Olympics.
