The online wholesale platform will release new tools this summer to address impact of trade show cancellations.
Faire, an online wholesale marketplace that supports more than 10,000 brands and 80,000 retailers, has announced it will be launching a series of new tools to help retail professionals connect remotely.
Starting in July, Faire users will receive year-round access to the following:
- Virtual Brand Page Showrooms: Retailers can view entire catalogs in a virtual showroom, including collections, pre-orders, pre-packs and pre-recorded video. Brands can customize their pages to showcase new products, bestsellers and merchandising tips for retailers.
- Live Streaming: Brands have the ability to livestream video to hundreds of retailers to debut new products and launch new collections. Retailers can ask questions through a live chat and checkout directly.
- 1:1 Appointments and Collaborative Cart-Building Features: Brands can invite retailers to live video appointments to walk through products and merchandising options. During the appointment, brands and buyers can easily create orders together with collaborative order-building. Preview notes can be provided beforehand for a more efficient, streamlined process.
“As with everything on our platform, these tools will allow brands to evolve and create year-round buying opportunities as we continue to recover from the pandemic,” the company writes in a recent statement. “We believe wholesale and independent retail will come back stronger than before if we work together and support one another.”
Faire will continue to share updates on these new features prior to the summer launch. For more information, visit Faire.com.
