Is the next hot toy idea hiding in the laundry basket? It was for artists Lili Chen and Khrass Feng. After reading a book on DIY sock dolls, the pair put their heads together and created the simple yet fun NO3NO4 sock doll family. Chen created dozens of these adorable figures by hand, and gave them names like Earl, Andy, Kit and Victor. Time Concept Inc.’s NO3NO4 2011 collection includes 25 cuddly sock toys in eye-popping colors and patterns. The toys wholesale for $8.80.
