Douglas Company Goes Green

Plush toy maker and lifestyle gift manufacturer Douglas Company is decreasing its carbon footprint. Starting this year, the company began filling its products with 100 percent recycled stuffing and pellets.

“Douglas understands the need and wants to do our part to contribute to the world’s environmental balance,” says Doug Adolphson, vice president of sales and marketing. “By adding environmentally friendly stuffing and pellets to our entire product line along with the shipping cartons made from recycled materials used by Douglas, it’s easy to see how committed Douglas is to help sustain an eco-friendly world, now and into the future!?

This movement started with 2020 production, which began in October 2019. Based on the current schedule, all Douglas products should be filled with recycled materials by this summer.
