Looking for some of the children industry’s best brands, models and stylists? Join the parade! PetiteParade, that is. On Saturday, the popular runway event kicked off its seventh edition, this time at Bathhouse Studios in New York City’s East Village neighborhood. Weren’t able to make it this go round? We will be breaking down the spring collections for every brand on the runway, beginning below. And don’t forget to check back in tomorrow for a review of Sunday’s show!

The show began with a bang, leading with the Spring ’15 childrenswear collection by the beloved French fashion house. Pairing an adult sensibility with resort-ready hues (think loads of navy, white and pink), the looks were perfect for jetsetting tots to wear on their next adventure. “It makes me think that if there was a resort in the south of France, that’s what all the kids would be wearing,” describes Sinta Jimenez of the online magazine Letters and Lullabies.

Alivia Simone

Next up were dressy looks by Alivia Simone. The San Francisco-based brand’s Spring ’15 collection expanded on the painterly looks that were a hit at the last edition of PetiteParade. From neon florals to sophisticated paint splatter patterns, the bold fabrics were combined with retro silhouettes, like mod shifts and nipped waistlines, for a look that onlookers described as “fashion for kids that actually looks like it should be for kids.”

Parsons

Graduating designers from prestigious Parsons flexed their fashion muscles by debuting their senior collections. The lines varied widely, from fisherman-inspired style for teen boys to layered, knitted looks for girls.

Imoga

How do you make florals for spring feel fresh? Just ask Imoga. The brand’s looks were brimming with flowers in shades of punchy pink, paired with some of the most on-trend silhouettes for Spring ’15. (Think midi skirts, drop-waist dresses, crop tops, blazers and jumpsuits.)

Oil & Water

For raincoats fit for “Audrey Hepburn,” as one blogger put it, look no further than the stylish rainwear by new brand Oil & Water. Sophisticated touches, like capes and full skirts are made girl-friendly with a pale pink, light blue and bright yellow palette—as well as pops of bold patterns. For a perfect finishing touch, all of the models’ sported slicked-back hair.

Anasai

Kids’ footwear brand Anasai aims to keep kids stylish and comfy at the same time, with a collection of classic styles, like ballet flats and loafers, spruced up with playful prints, pops of metallic and plenty of shine. True to its mission, models at PetiteParade rocked the brand’s shoes along with casually cool clothing, from pink leopard-print dresses to layered button-downs.
