Clothing Retailers Top Stores’ Hot List

Clothiers are among the top ten fastest growing retailers in the U.S., according to Stores’ list of Hot 100 Retailers. Michael Kors, which posted a 57.1 percent jump in revenues and same-store sales gains of 36.7 percent in the first three months of 2013, ranked second on the list, just behind Bi-Lo grocers. Lululemon Athletica ranked fourth, despite a headline-making year that included the exit of its chief product officer and quality control issues. Thanks to 2014 Winter Olympic buzz and strong connections with high school and college sports teams, Under Armour came in at No. 6.
