British-based online children’s boutique AlexandAlexa let kids in on Fashion Week fun by creating five short films, all featuring children decked out in the store’s top international brands and frolicking down a mirrored runway set in a wooded forest. Each video was dedicated to looks from a different designer collection, including Junior Gaultier, Baby Dior, Stella McCartney, Tommy Hilfiger and Rykiel Enfant.
“We came up with the concept of ‘Five Days of Fashion,’ to showcase the diversity of our range and as always, we were dedicated to making it fun,” AlexandAlexa co-founder Alexa Till told British Vogue. “We decided to set up a magical mirrored runway in a secret woodland and let our mini models enjoy the clothes and just be themselves. It was the perfect clash of glitz meets reality, with only a few of our mini models resisting the urge to climb the trees and splash in the mud!”
