Babies “R” Us Flagship Celebrates Redesign

Babies “R” Us Union Square of New York is marking the completion of its six-month redesign with a week of special events for parents and families. The 30,000-square-foot store has a new, easier-to-navigate layout for maneuvering strollers, an expanded assortment of merchandise including dedicated boutiques for Bunnies By The Bay and Hatley apparel, a selection of compact nursery furniture ideal for small city apartments and a larger “R” Market Shop with an extensive selection of Babies “R” Us-branded products. The flagship location is also adding New York City-centric services including same day delivery to all five boroughs, on-site stroller assembly at the revamped stroller boutique and Personal Registry Advisors available by appointment to guide new parents through the registry process.

During the week of May 8-14, Babies “R” Us will host a stroller expo, a health and beauty session for new moms, a registry workshop and a “Day of Fun” for families with face-painters, costumed characters and balloon artists.
