New jumper from Skip Hop tracks and rewards baby’s activity.
Available online and in stores this September, the new “Jumpscape” by Skip Hop is a fold-away jumper that tracks baby’s bounces and responds with “rewards,” including lights and music. Described as a “Fitbit for baby,” the Jumpscape congratulates the little user at each 100-jump milestone, sounding off with an applause.
Offering a “whole body” approach to play and learning, the new product gives babies the chance to sit, swivel, bounce and play their way to the next level. Included are four additional toys (fox jumping jack, hedgehog mirror, swaying trees and spinning bee) to encourage the development of motor skills. Not to mention the 360-degree rotating seat is made from a soft, machine-washable material and has the ability to fold flat for easy cleanup.
Targeting tiny tots age 4 months and up (with a weight limit of 25 pounds), the seat adjusts to five different heights to accommodate a baby’s growth. Suggested retail price for the Jumpscape is $130.
