Delivering Good Adds New Industry Leaders to Board of Directors

Vince Adams, Stacy Berns, Todd Everett and Hebe Schecter will provide expertise across retail, communications, manufacturing and logistics.

Delivering Good, the charity for new product donations made by companies in the fashion, home and children’s industries, welcomes four new industry leaders with diverse professional backgrounds to its board of directors. Vince Adams, Stacy Berns, Todd Everett and Hebe Schecter will join the 32 other industry leaders on the nonprofit’s board and provide insights in support of the organization’s mission.

“Contributing to the social good has become more important than ever within the retail industry, and these new board members will bring specific, useful experience to our leadership as we implement our strategic vision plan over the next few years and continue to help people in the most need,” says Andrea Weiss, chair of Delivering Good. “These executives will add to our deep bench of industry expertise in the key areas of retail apparel, marketing and communications, apparel and home manufacturing, and distribution and operations, as well as adding geographic diversity to our board.”

Vince Adams, Chief Financial Officer for Banana Republic, will provide Delivering Good with insights into retail chains and strategic planning.

 

 

 

Stacy Berns, Founder and President of Berns Communications Group, will help Delivering Good share its story with an even wider audience by providing communications expertise.

 

 

 

Todd Everett brings over 20 years of C-level and executive leadership experience in supply chain, transportation and logistics at companies that include Intel Corporation, Newgistics and Pitney Bowes. His shipping and distribution knowledge will help Delivering Good improve deliveries of donated merchandise to those in need.

 

 

Hebe Schecter, CEO of Kaltex North America and President of Kaltex America, will provide Delivering Good with insights into the manufacture of apparel and home products. The Kaltex divisions are part of Grupo Kaltex, one of the largest textile manufacturing companies in the world, headquartered in Mexico City.
