Layette line will join Little Me portfolio of brands.
Mamiye Brothers, headquartered in New York City, announced it has acquired the layette brand Kissy Kissy to complement its current offerings under the Little Me portfolio of brands. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. New York-based Kissy Kissy is known for infant apparel made by the finest Pima cotton. The brand was founded in 1996 by Roxana Castillo who will remain with the company to design and develop product. “When I was first approached by Mamiye Brothers, I knew that the opportunity was one that would bring Kissy Kissy to the next level, ” she says. “I am confident that the blending of our families will allow the brand that I hold close to my heart to grow exponentially.” Mamiye Brothers’ President Jeff Glick echoes the sentiment. “We are thrilled to add Kissy Kissy to our Little Me family of brands and introduce a new, best in class name to our roster,” he says. “Our goal is to achieve a smooth transition and leverage Mamiye Brothers’ strengths in baby apparel to take Kissy Kissy to new heights, continuing to delight consumers with the highest levels of quality and design.” In addition to Kissy Kissy, Mamiye Brothers owns Little Me, Best Beginnings, Offspring and Flapdoodles.
