Bonnie Matthews reveals her latest heirloom creations for Blu Pony Vintage at H.P.F, Christopher in the West Village, New York.
Last night, Bonnie Matthews, designer behind children’s label, Blu Pony Vintage, revealed a custom-made, heirloom gown sewn from 1920s French lace in the treasure chest of a boutique that is H.P.F, Christopher, in the West Village. The designer describes the dress as a perfect representation of her brand, and a tribute to the inspiration that pushed her to start Blu Pony Vintage in the first place. The delicate frock is available for pre-order exclusively from H.P.F, Christopher.
Also on view was another of Blu Pony Vintage’s heirloom creations: A vintage French lace gown that can be hand monogrammed with a child’s name, age and year of birth. This white lacy confection is available in sizes 2 to 8, and wholesales for $180. Matthews notes that both precious pieces are meant to preserve childhood memories. The delicate dresses shown alongside glistening jewelry and extravagant home goods made for a charming evening, perfect for escaping the rain and chill outside.
