Beloved kids’ shoe brand, Pediped, introduces a very special new boot.
Pediped is honoring the memory of an incredible child, Kenadi Jean Weis, with its latest boot offering. Sadly, Kenadi suffered from a traumatic birth and was diagnosed with Infantile Spasms when she was only a few months old. At age 5½ Kenadi passed away due to pneumonia along with what was likely a seizure.
In her short life, though, she touched many lives and affected many people, including those at Pediped. The brand first encountered Kenadi when her mother requested oversized soft-sole Originals shoes. Pediped developed them and they soon became Kenadi’s signature footwear.
Now, in honor of Kenadi, Pediped has her in mind again with its Kenadi boot and Kolor for Kenadi insert. Kenadi loved butterflies so each insert is decorated with them and will be included in a packet with every Kenadi boot order made on pediped.com. Customers can color the butterflies as they like, take a picture of their handiwork and share it with Pediped via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #KolorforKenadi. All of the photos will be hung in the company’s office before being given to the Weis family.
In addition, for every butterfly photo taken, Pediped will donate $1 to the Kenadi Jean Weis Foundation, which promotes love, acceptance and success for children of all abilities and their families.
So, pull out your markers or your crayons and visit pediped.com to learn more.
