Does your denim need a dash of cool?
Back in February of 2012, fall fashion made being bad look oh so good. Classic denim in a range of washes—from slate gray to true blue— paired perfectly with plain white tees, leather jackets and buffalo plaid button-ups. Bold bouffants elevated sweatshirts and cut-off work shirts alike. Time-honored Converse hi-tops and heavy, black lace-up boots gave this cast of kids a classically cool vibe. Though the sky-high hair and glass Coca-Cola bottles read distinctly ’50s these dark denim combinations couldn’t look more timeless. In today’s market, where paired down classics and amaranthine heritage brands reign supreme, this flashback Friday couldn’t be more on trend.
