The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) announced the 2013 winners of its annual Innovation Awards last week at the ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas. A panel of trade media representatives and retail buyers selected the seven winners from a pool of 120 products, with awards going to products that earned the highest marks for their innovation, marketability, trend-setting potential, appeal and usefulness.
The winners include: Infant to Toddler TubTub Plus by BRICA, Inc., in the Feeding/Bathing/Changing Category; Reflectoids by ZoLi in the Safety Category; AtonQ Infant Car Seat by CYBEX in the Child Restraint Category; HALO
BassiNest Swivel Sleeper by HALO Innovations in the Nursery Category; HoneyBee Child SwingEase by HoneyBee Child in the Play/Entertainment Category; Duux Ultrasonic Air Humidifier Mushroom by Scandinavian Child in the Infant/Parent Care Category; and Nano by Mountain Buggy in the On The Go Category.
The HALO BassiNest Swivel Sleeper also garnered the Judges Pick Award, while the Mini Micro 3 in 1 by Kickboard USA, a ride-on toy that helps young children develop balance and coordination, won the Parent’s Pick Award, which goes to the winning product as voted on by 1,800 parents across the country.
