The character Strawberry Shortcake will be starring in her own musical show, “Strawberry Shortcake: Follow Your Berry Own Beat,” for the first time in North America starting January 13. American Greetings Properties announced last week that the show will make its way to 32 different cities in the U.S. and Canada. The show will feature Strawberry Shortcake’s friends Lemon Meringue, Cherry Jam and Orange Blossom, as well as songs from the television show “Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Bitty Adventures.” “We are very excited to bring Strawberry Shortcake to life in an exciting new stage production that showcases her berry bubbly personality and musical talent, while inspiring young girls to do big things,” says Lindsay Martinez, the director of licensing and business development at American Greetings Properties.
