DreamWorks Animation has teamed up with Triple Five Worldwide to construct an indoor theme park in East Rutherford, NJ. This theme park will include characters from such popular animated films as Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, Puss in Boots and Madagascar. The park is planned to open in fall 2013 and will be located at the American Dream at Meadowlands retail and entertainment complex, which will feature five stories of retail and entertainment. The complex itself will include an ice-skating rink, an indoor ski park, theaters and a water park. “American Dream at Meadowlands is working with the most creative minds in the entertainment business,” says President of Triple Five Worldwide Don Chermezian. “The theme park will have direct input from the creative talents behind the films to create a park experience that will attract a global market.”
