Nest Egg Management, Inc., a private investment group focusing on active private equity in small and middle-market companies, has acquired a minority interest in NTD Apparel Inc., a Montreal, Quebec-based apparel company. NTD manages a portfolio of licensed entertainment and national brands including Dickies, Paul Frank, Hello Kitty, Marvel, Warner Brothers and Mattel.
Nest Egg’s managing director, Brad Egna, founder of manufacturing company Briefly Stated, will be joining NTD as a senior advisor and board member. Brad brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in consumer products, mergers and acquisitions, marketing, licensing, apparel and international trade.
Commenting on the transaction, NTD’s president and co-founder Michael Eliesen stated, “Nest Egg is the perfect partner.
