Shannon Komsky, president of Little Capers Acquisitions, has purchased the Little Capers brand from its original creator and plans to take it to the next level. Little Capers produces T-shirts featuring non-commercial icons with removable Velcro capes that encourage children to use their imagination, create their own superhero and select their super powers.
“Using general symbols such as lightning bolts, stars, dragons and hearts, this one-of-a-kind superhero brand ignites creativity in children and inspires them to unleash their inner hero,” Komsky said. “As we start this exciting rebrand, we will keep the three mainstay characters—Bolt Boy, Zap Girl and Pow—intact.”
The fall collection centers on a 1950s Space Exploration theme, and the company is planning new additions for Spring ’11. Each season will be uniquely themed and will feature two to four new characters.
