Last spring, Nancy Markert and Amy Hoffman, who have been road reps for more than 20 years in the New York/New Jersey/Pennsylvania/Connecticut area as well as the mid-Atlantic states, took space within The Showroom at 34 W. 33rd St., Suite #314, in New York. Each business remains a separate entity, said Louise Connor, owner of The Showroom.
Sharing the space has proven beneficial to all parties, the reps reported, as traffic in the showroom has increased and each rep can now provide their accounts with more information on a greater number of brands. Markert and Hoffman will continue to see accounts they have seen on the road in the past that cannot make the trip to Manhattan.
