According to show management, attendance at the 2010 Licensing International Expo was up 15 percent over 2009. Advanstar Global Licensing Group reported that 21,000 people had pre-registered for the trade show, which concluded on June 10 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The show also drew a more international crowd, with the number of global visitors up more than 14 percent.
“The 2010 show was our highest attended show in many years, with our opening day receiving more visitors than the entire three days of last year’s show,” show director Liz Crawford said. “We were thrilled with the quality of attendees, the quantity of key retailers and international visitors to the show.” Crawford noted that the increased attendance and quality of the show has led to the booking of 75 percent of booths for next year’s edition.
Licensing International Expo 2011 is scheduled to take place June 14-16 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Visit www.licensingexpo.com.
