Licensing Expo Anticipates Rise in International Attendees

Licensing International Expo expects to see more international visitors at its upcoming edition, taking place June 8-10 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. “We are seeing an increase in delegates from across the world with very large delegations from Germany, Italy, U.K., Asia, China, Korea and Latin America,” show director Liz Crawford said. “Most exhibitors are seeing a real uptick in their own meetings slated for the show.”

This edition marks the 30th year of Licensing Expo, which is produced by Advanstar Communications. At the 2009 show, roughly one-third of the attendees came from outside the United States, with more than 98 countries represented. International retailers–including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Carrefour, Marks & Spencer and ASDA–are also signed up to attend this year’s event. For more information, visit www.licensingexpo.com.
