Taggies Inc. of Spencer, Mass., manufacturer of children’s items featuring textured satin tags, announced that through its Tags of Love matching gift program, the company donated more than $40,000 worth of product to Children’s Hospital Boston in 2009. In addition, Taggies celebrated its 10th anniversary last year by creating a Big Taggies retailer campaign, which enabled the company to donate an additional $7,500 worth of product to the hospital.
“[We] are thankful to our consumers for supporting us,” said Danielle Ayotte, co-founder of Taggies. “We partner with national organizations as well as local programs to provide comfort and joy to children in difficult situations.Taggies’ Tags of Love charitable giving program supports worldwide organizations that provide much needed children’s care. Consumers can purchase products to donate on the company’s website, and it matches each purchase with products of equal or greater value.
