• Greensource, the eco-friendly division of The Source, an apparel manufacturer based in Seattle, has won a “Sustainability All-Star” award from Apparel magazine. The honor was based on the company’s involvement throughout its supply chain to keep toxic pesticides and other chemicals from affecting the environment. Greensource uses only organic cotton and sustainable fibers in its products and between 2007 and 2008 certified all five of its factories to the Global Organic Textile Standard. American Apparel, Levi Strauss, Patagonia and T.S. Designs also received this recognition.
