Jerry Perez has been appointed as senior vice president and global brand leader to oversee Hasbro’s worldwide preschool business. In his new role, Perez will be responsible for global strategy, marketing and merchandising for the Pawtucket, R.I.-based toy and game company’s preschool portfolio, which includes the Playskool, Mr. Potato Head and Play-Doh brands. He will also handle global efforts for the newly signed Sesame Street toy and co-branded games license set to launch in 2011.

Perez most recently worked at Learning Curve, as well as having served as president of LeapFrog Enterprises. He has also previously worked at Mattel’s Fisher-Price, Quaker Oats and Kenner. Visit www.hasbro.com.
