Bella Tunno Donates to Feeding America’s Covid-19 Fund

A generous contribution of $10K!

Since launching in 2005, Bella Tunno has never sold a product without donating a portion of the proceeds to non-profit organizations. Five years ago, the company ramped up efforts with its “Buy One, Feed One” campaign, promising to give one meal to a child for every product sold.
Today, as the economic impact of the Covid-19 crisis increases, Bella Tunno has been one of the many brands to step up and support those in need. One of the most significant impacts of the pandemic has been school closures, affecting kids’ access to healthy meals. Dedicated to its mission of ending childhood hunger, Bella Tunno donated $10,000 to Feeding America’s COVID-19 fund, a national food and fundraising effort to support people facing hunger and the food banks that support them.
“Ending childhood hunger is the heartbeat of our brand,” says Michelle Tunno Buelow, founder of Bella Tunno. “The most vulnerable children in our communities, our cities and our nation are at an all-time high in terms of food insecurity.”
In the past, Bella Tunno donated 38,766 meals to a local food bank after Hurricane Harvey hit Houston in August 2017. And when deadly tornadoes hit the Nashville area last month, Bella Tunno donated 37,939 meals to the food banks closest to the catastrophe. To date, the company has provided 3.9 million meals to date.
“Free food programs are closed and both volunteers and access to food are at an all-time low,” Tunno Buelow says. “Our commitment is unwavering to being part of the solution.” For more about Bella Tunno and its efforts to help those impacted by Covid-19, watch this video:
