Children's Apparel Network Recalls Girl's Clothing Sets

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in cooperation with Children's Apparel Network of New York, NY, has issued a voluntary recall of an estimated 9,200 three-piece clothing sets by girls' brand Young Hearts.

Graco Recalls Classic Wood Highchairs

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in cooperation with Graco Children's Products Inc. of Atlanta, GA, issued a voluntary recall of its Classic Wood Highchairs due to fall hazard. Graco has received 58 reports of the highchairs' seats loosening or detaching from the base and there have been nine reports of children falling as the seat detached from the base, including one report of a concussion in Canada.

Innovage Recalls Discovery Kids Lamps Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in cooperation with Innovage LLC of Foothill Ranch, CA, has announced a voluntary recall of the company's Discovery Kids Animated Marine and Safari lamps. Innovage has received 11 reports of short-circuiting, including three reports of lamps catching fire. No injuries have been reported. The recall affects about 30,000 units sold from June 2010 through March 2012.

Papa Bear Children’s Pajamas Recalled by CPSC

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a voluntary recall of Papa Bear children's pajamas on Tuesday because they failed to meet federal flammability standards. More than 10,000 pairs of cotton pajamas sets, pants and nightgowns sold in boys' and girls' sizes 0 to 14 were imported by the Los Angeles, CA-based company. While no injuries have been reported, the CPSC says there is a risk that children could be burned if the pajamas catch fire and advises customers to return the product to retailers for a refund, exchange or store credit.
