On Sunday, September 23, Lester's held an event to celebrate the Happy Socks' Fall '12 collection. DJ Fulano Librizzi spun tunes to entertain the shoppers, staff handed out Baked by Melissa cupcakes, and customers received a goody bag with each Happy Socks purchase and a free pair of the brand's socks with any in-store purchase. "It's a great brand - it's up and coming," says Barry Cohen, co-owner of Lester's on 80th Street and 2nd Avenue in Manhattan.
Wholesale clothing company Wicked Fashions and PS Brands, a designer and manufacturer of private-label and branded socks and accessories, have teamed up to launch a line of Southpole-branded baby socks and infant crib shoes. The products will be available to U.S. and Canadian retailers beginning next month.
"Southpole will be a great addition to the PS stable of brands," PS Brands President and CEO Elie Levy. "It's an exciting lifestyle brand. Their trendy designs in apparel have given us the ability to create a cutting-edge line of leg wear to service their consumer."
