Launched in 2002, Winter Water Factory has become a go-to brand for fans of whimsical all-over prints like mushrooms, horses and trees covering classic silhouettes for kids and baby. The Brooklyn-based company, led by husband and wife team Stefanie Lynen and Todd Warnock, combines kid-friendly designs with bright, bold colors on 100 percent certified organic cotton for clothes that are comfy and conducive to a healthy environment. Dresses, tops and tights are available for girls, while boys can choose from tees and hoodies. For baby, parents can pick from a selection of rompers, dresses, gowns, tights, hats and blankets. Though hoodies have been a WWF staple since the beginning, the brand introduced boys’ and girls’ crew neck sweatshirts, available in a selection of prints like the new polar bear design, for Fall ’14. Crafted using organic cotton French terry, the tops, which wholesale for $22, are soft, warm, and perfect for the chilly months.
